Abstract art panels using xps foam panels in layers to make 3d art panels.
Each layer was cut and then the surface was smoothed with wet and dry 180 grit sand paper, sealed with water proof PVA and painted with vinyl matt emulsion before gluing together with contact adhesive. The edge of the panel was then sanded and any gaps on the border were filled with interior plaster filler, then sanded flat and then painted.
The panel was mounted onto a thin sheet of MDF which was also sealed with waterproof PVA and painted white.
