An xps foam carved bird. Inspiration found from an existing carved sculpture found on the internet. No need to invent the wheel when you can be inspired by someone else composition. Copy it and learn!
Tools used on this carving. Hot wire cutting table with card templates for main shaping. Details were formed by carving with a knife and then sandpaper. Final details added using a scalpel and fine grade sandpaper.
The carving took a few attempts to get it to work.
